This degree program is accredited only by the College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy itself. The degree is not accredited by any state, governmental or academic agency other than CPSP. Thus, this degree will not likely make the bearer qualified for a typical teaching position in most colleges and universities. Applicants should attend to the ways they hope to make use of this degree going forward. However, this degree will inform the student of what few today in the Clinical Pastoral Training movement are aware, its authentic origins and its buried history.
